It is especially intended to be used in the interlocking station-wide logics. To be able toget the signals into other systems, equipment or functions, one must use other tools,described in the Engineering manual, and define which function block in whichsystems, equipment or functions should receive this information.More specifically, DPGAPC function reports a combined double point positionindication output POSITION, by evaluating the value and the timestamp attributes ofthe inputs OPEN and CLOSE, together with the logical input signal VALID.When the input signal VALID is active, the values of the OPEN and CLOSE inputsdetermine the two-bit integer value of the output POSITION.
