RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DHW CONNECTIONSEssential recommendations for safety• The hot water output may reach temperatures in excess of 60°C, which can causescalding! It is therefore necessary to install a thermostatic mixing valve after theappliance.• The system must be fitted with an approved safety group, comprised of a 7 barsafety valve, a check valve and a shut-off valve.*Essential recommendations for the correct operation of the appliance• Flush the system before connecting the domestic hot water circuit. Refer to theinstallation instructions.• Make sure to install a pressure reducing valve set at 4.5 bar if the mains supplypressure is in excess of 6 bar.• It is recommended to install an expansion vessel in the DHW circuit to prevent the safetyvalve from opening constantly and reduce the water hammer effect in the system.• If the appliance is used as a domestic hot water preparation tank, a primaryexpansion vessel adapted to the boiler power/size and to the type of system mustbe fitted in the heating circuit (if there is no built-in expansion vessel, or if the built-in expansion vessel size is not sufficient).Cold waterHot waterTypical installation with internal DHW tankDescription1.
