A DMX controller allows you to create unique programs tailoredto your individual needs.1. The Mini Dekker LZR has two DMX channel modes: a 2 channel mode and a 7 channel mode.See the DMX Mode sections of this manual for detailed description of the DMX values and traits.2. To control your fixture in DMX mode, follow the set-up procedures in the DMX Set Up section ofthis manual, as well as the set-up specifications that are included with your DMX controller.3. Follow the instructions in the System Menu section of this manual to set the DMX address.4. For longer cable runs (more than a 100 feet), use a terminator on the last fixture.5. For help operating in DMX mode consult the manual included with your DMX controller.Sound Active Mode: This mode allows a single unit or several units linked together, to run to thebeat of the music.1. Press the MENU button until “Soun” is displayed, and press ENTER.2. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to either activate or deactivate sound active mode, and pressENTER. If activated, the unit will now run to the beat of the music.3. The sound sensitivity can be adjusted by turning the sound sensitivity knob located on the backof the unit. Turn the knob clockwise for greater sensitivity and counter-clockwise for reducedsensitivity.Show Mode: This mode allows a single unit or several units linked together to run to a built-in pro-gram.1. Press the MENU button until “Show” is displayed.2. Press ENTER to activate.Mini Dekker LZR Primary-Secondary Set UpPrimary-Secondary Operation: This function will allow you to link up to 16 units together and oper-ate without a controller. In a Primary-Secondary set-up, one unit will act as the controlling unit andthe others will react to the controlling unit’s programs. Any unit can act as a Primary or a Secondary.1. Using standard XLR microphone cables, daisy chain your units together via the XLR connectoron the rear of each unit. Remember that the male XLR connector is the input and the female XLRconnector is the output. The first unit in the chain (primary) will use the female XLR connectoronly, and the last unit in the chain will use the male XLR connector only. For longer cable runs,the installation of a terminator at the last fixture is recommended.2. Set the Primary unit to the desired operating mode.3. Set the Secondary unit(s) to address “001”.4. The Secondary unit(s) will now follow the Primary unit.
