Sets baud rate for communications with PC or modem.POSITIONDetermines if this ESU LT is at the head of a chain of units(directly connected to the modem or PC). The head of thechain is referred to as the master unit. Units down the chainare referred to as slaves or a slave unit. The setting of thePosition Selection is necessary only when using a modem, inwhich case the head unit should be MASTER. For all othercases, select SLAVE. (The master is in charge of control of themodem.)Choices: MASTER, SLAVEMODEM INITThe ESU LT is capable of initializing a modem. This menuselection is used to perform this initialization and should beselected only when the ESU LT is serving as the MASTERunit. Prior to modem initialization it should be physicallyconnected to the ESU LT and the power turned on. At thispoint, an industry-standard AT command string is used toinitialize the modem. The string is also used following futurepower-up sequences.Choices: ENA, DISADATA RATESelects the data rate for the control port. This should beconsistent with all units on a chain and with the modemand/or PC serial port.Choices: 1200, 2400, 9600
