The choices are O N and OFF. The default is ON.Static RoutesUse this menu to enter static routes to other networks.DHCP ServerUse this menu to set up the DHCP server.DNSEnter the 600R's domain name and the DNS servers in this menu.ACTIVE Adds this static route entry to the IP routing table when set to YES andremoves it (if it was previously added) if set to NO. Default is YES.IP ADDRESS The IP address of the host or network address of the device being routedto. Default is 0.0.0.0.SUBNET M ASK Determines the bits in the previous IP address that are used. If this is to bea host route, it must be set to all ones (255.255.255.255). Default is 0.0.0.0.G ATEWAY The IP address of the router to receive the forwarded IP packet. Default is0.0.0.0.HOPS The number of router hops required to get to the network or host.Maximum distance is 16 hops. Default is 1.PRIVATE When set to NO, the 600R will advertise this static route using RIP. Settingto YES means that the route is kept private. Default is NO.DHCP M ODE When set to ON, the 600R acts as a DHCP server and will dynamicallyassign IP, network mask, default gateway, and DNS addresses to anydevice which transmits a broadcast DHCP request. The addresses as-signed are based on the 600R’s own IP address and will be within thesame network. Default is O FF.DHCP RENEWAL TIME( HOURS)The number of hours that the DHCP server should allow the devicebefore it is required to send a new DHCP request. The range is 0-255.The default is 15 hours, and 0 represents an infinite lease.DOMAIN NAME Text string used to represent the domain name used by theTotal Access 600R.SERVER 1 First server to which domain name requests are sent. Default is 0.0.0.0.SERVER 2 Server used as a backup, in case the primary address does not respondto the request. Default is 0.0.0.0.
