Then press the +or - button to set the correct time of day.After approximately five seconds, theflashing stops and the display shows thetime of day you set.4.3 PreheatingPreheat the appliance to burn off resi-due from the cavity surface. Accessoriescan become hotter than during a normaloperation. During this time an odourand smoke can be emitted. This is nor-mal. Make sure that the airflow is suffi-cient.Set the maximum temperature for 1hour.5. Whenyou push the knob, the spark gener-ator activates automatically.2. Keep the control knob pushed forapproximately 10 seconds. This letsthe thermocouple warm up.
