5Delayed switch offl The delayed switch off can be activated with knob T6 while the motor isrunningl The display shows remaining minutes until the motor and lamps (if on)are switched offl The switch off delay is depending on motor speed:Speed 1: 20 minutesSpeed 2: 15 minutesSpeed 3: 10 minutesIntensive speed: 5 minutesFilter saturation indicator:l If the display shows the letter ”F”, it means that the grease filters shouldbe cleaned (after running 40 hours)l If the display shows the letter ”C”, it means that also the carbon filtershould be cleaned or replaced (after running 160 hours). SeeMaintenance.l To reactivate the filter saturation indication and erase the letters F or Cfrom the display, press when in OFF mode the knobs T4 and T5simultaneously for minimum 2 seconds.The saturation indicator is reset when “F” or “C” turn off on the display.Caution: the appliance is not set to indicate saturation of the charcoalfilter. If you decide to use it in recirculation mode (with charcoal filter)signalling of filter saturation must be set as follows: turn the hood OFF,then press T5 and T6 simultaneously for 3 seconds.Correct ventilationIf the cooker hood is to work correctly there must be anunderpressure in the kitchen. It is important to keep the kitchen windowsclosed and have a window in an adjacent room open.Important to knowNot applicable for recirculation. Great care must be taken if the hood isused at the same time as a burner or fireplace (e.g. gas, diesel, coal orwood heaters, water heaters, etc.), as the hood will expel air which isrequired by these other appliances. Attend to it by opening a window. Thenegative pressure in the room must not exceed 0,04 mbar to prevent fumesbeing drawn back into the room by the cooker hood.
