OVEN - CARE AND CLEANINGWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.11.1 Notes on cleaningClean the front of the oven with a softcloth with warm water and a mildcleaning agent.To clean metal surfaces, use a dedicatedcleaning agent.Clean the oven interior after each use.Fat accumulation or other food remainsmay result in a fire. The risk is higher forthe grill pan.Clean all accessories after each use andlet them dry. Use a soft cloth with warmwater and a cleaning agent. Do not cleanthe accessories in the dishwasher.Clean stubborn dirt with a special ovencleaner. Do not apply oven cleaner onthe catalytic surfaces.If you have nonstick accessories, do notclean them using aggressive agents,sharp-edged objects or a dishwasher. Itcan cause damage to the nonstickcoating.Clean the moisture from the cavity aftereach use.11.2 Stainless steel oraluminium ovensClean the oven door with a damp clothor sponge only. Dry it with a soft cloth.Do not use steel wool, acids or abrasivematerials as they can damage the ovensurface. Clean the oven control panelwith the same precautions.11.3 Catalytic cleaningCAUTION!Do not clean the catalyticsurface with oven sprays,abrasive cleaning agents,soap or other cleaningagents. This will damage thecatalytic surface.Spots or discolouration ofthe catalytic surface have noeffect on catalyticproperties.WARNING!Keep children away whenyou clean the oven at a hightemperature. The ovensurface becomes very hotand there is a risk of burns.CAUTION!Always turn the oven light onwhile using the catalyticcleaning (if applicable).Before activating thecatalytic cleaning remove allthe accessories from theoven.The walls with a catalytic coating are self-cleaning. They absorb fat which collectson the walls while the applianceoperates.To support the self-cleaning procedure,heat the empty oven on a regular basis.1. Clean the oven floor with warm waterand washing up liquid, then dry it.2. Set the oven temperature to 250 °Cand let the oven operate for 1 hour.3. When the appliance is cool, clean itwith a soft and moist sponge.11.4 Cleaning the cavityembossmentThe cleaning procedure removeslimestone residue from the cavityembossment after cooking with steam.For the function: True FanCooking PLUS werecommend to do thecleaning procedure at leastevery 5 - 10 cooking cycles.1.
