To do that touch when thehob is active. This deactivates automaticoperation of the function and allows youto change the fan speed manually. Whenyou press you raise the fan speed byone. When you reach an intensive leveland press again you will set fan speedto 0 which deactivates the hood fan. Tostart the fan again with fan speed 1 touch.To activate automaticoperation of the function,deactivate the hob andactivate it again.Activating the lightYou can set the hob to activate the lightautomatically whenever you activate thehob. To do so set the automatic mode toH1 – H6.The light on the hooddeactivates 2 minutes afterdeactivating the hob.6.15 Power managementfunction• Cooking zones are grouped accordingto the location and number of phasesin the hob. See the illustration.• Each phase has a maximumelectricity load.• The function divides the powerbetween cooking zones connected tothe same phase.• The function activates when the totalelectricity load of the cooking zonesconnected to a single phase isexceeded.• The function reduces the power of theother cooking zones connected to thesame phase.• The heat setting display of thereduced zones changes between twolevels.www.aeg.com16
