12Install the shelf supports in the oppositesequence.10.3 Oven ceilingWARNING!Deactivate the appliancebefore you remove theheating element. Make surethat the appliance is cold.There is a risk of burns.Remove the shelf supports.You can fold down the heating elementon the oven ceiling to clean the ovenceiling easily.1. Hold the heating element with twohands at the front.2. Pull it forwards against the springpressure and out along the supportson the two sides.The heating element folds down.3. Clean the oven ceiling.4. Install the heating element in theopposite sequence.Install the heating elementcorrectly above the supportson the inner walls of theappliance.5. Install the shelf supports.10.4 Removing and installingthe doorYou can remove the door and theinternal glass panels to clean it. Thenumber of glass panels is different fordifferent models.WARNING!Be careful when you removethe door from the appliance.The door is heavy.1. Open the door fully.2. Fully press the clamping levers (A) onthe two door hinges.AA3. Close the oven door to the firstopening position (approximately 70°angle).4. Hold the door with one hand on eachside and pull it away from theappliance at an upwards angle.5. Put the door with the outer sidedown on a soft cloth on a stablesurface. This is to prevent scratches.6. Hold the door trim (B) on the topedge of the door at the two sidesand push inwards to release the clipseal.12B7. Pull the door trim to the front toremove it.8. Hold the door glass panels on theirtop edge one by one and pull themup out of the guide.www.aeg.com26
