DAILY USE4.1 On and OffTouch for 1 second to start or stopthe appliance.4.2 Automatic Switch OffThe function deactivates the applianceautomatically if:• All cooking zones are deactivated ().• You do not set the heat setting afteryou activate the appliance.• You spill something or put somethingon the control panel for more than 10seconds, (a pan, a cloth, etc.). Anacoustic signal sounds some time andthe appliance deactivates. Remove theobject or clean the control panel.• The appliance becomes too hot (e.g.when, a saucepan boils dry). Beforeyou use the appliance again, wait forthe cooking zone to cool down.• You use incorrect cookware. The sym-bol comes on and the cookingzone deactivates automatically after 2minutes.• You do not deactivate a cooking zoneor change the heat setting. After sometime comes on and the appliancedeactivates.
