Be very careful when youreplace the pan supportsto prevent the hob topfrom damage.2. The enamel coating occasionally canhave rough edges, so be carefulwhen you wash the pan supports byhand and dry them. If necessary,remove stubborn stains with a pastecleaner.3. After you clean the pan supports,make sure that they are in correctpositions.4. For the burner to operate correctly,make sure that the arms of the pansupports are aligned with the centreof the burner.6.3 Cleaning the hob• Remove immediately: melted plastic,plastic foil, sugar and food with sugar.If not, the dirt can cause damage tothe hob. Take care to avoid burns.• Remove when the hob is sufficientlycool: limescale rings, water rings, fatstains, shiny metallic discoloration.Clean the hob with a moist cloth andnon-abrasive detergent. Aftercleaning, wipe the hob dry with a softcloth.• To clean the enamelled parts, capand crown, wash them with warmsoapy water and dry them carefullybefore you put them back on.6.4 Cleaning the spark plugThis feature is obtained through aceramic ignition candle with a metalelectrode. Keep these components wellclean to prevent difficult lighting andcheck that the burner crown holes arenot obstructed.6.5 Periodic maintenanceSpeak to your local Authorised ServiceCentre periodically to check theconditions of the gas supply pipe andthe pressure adjuster, if fitted.7.
