• Scratches or dark stains on the surfacehave no effect on how the hoboperates.• Use a special cleaner applicable forthe surface of the hob.• Use a special scraper for the glass.6.2 Cleaning the hob• Remove immediately: melted plastic,plastic foil, and food with sugar. If not,the dirt can cause damage to the hob.Put the special scraper on the glasssurface at an acute angle and movethe blade on the surface.• Remove when the hob is sufficientlycool: limescale rings, water rings, fatstains, shiny metallic discoloration.Clean the hob with a moist cloth andsome detergent. After cleaning, rubthe hob dry with a soft cloth.7. TROUBLESHOOTINGWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.7.1 What to do if...Problem Possible cause RemedyYou cannot activate or oper-ate the hob.The hob is not connected toan electrical supply or it isconnected incorrectly.Check if the hob is correctlyconnected to the electricalsupply.
