• Do not store items on the cooking surfaces.• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lidsshould not be placed on the hob surface since theycan get hot.• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.• After use, switch off the hob element by its controland do not rely on the pan detector.• If the glass ceramic surface / glass surface is cracked,switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility ofelectric shock.• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced bythe manufacturer, an authorized Service or similarlyqualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS2.1 InstallationWARNING!Only a qualified person mustinstall this appliance.• Remove all the packaging.• Do not install or use a damagedappliance.• Obey the installation instructionsupplied with the appliance.• Keep the minimum distance from theother appliances and units.• Always be careful when you move theappliance because it is heavy. Alwayswear safety gloves.• Seal the cut surfaces with a sealant toprevent moisture to cause swelling.• Protect the bottom of the appliancefrom steam and moisture.• Do not install the appliance adjacentto a door or under a window. Thisprevents hot cookware to fall from theappliance when the door or thewindow is opened.• If the appliance is installed abovedrawers make sure that the space,between the bottom of the applianceand the upper drawer, is sufficient forair circulation.• The bottom of the appliance can gethot.
