INSTALLATIONWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.3.1 Before the installationBefore you install the hob, write down theinformation below from the rating plate.The rating plate is on the bottom of thehob.Model .......................................PNC .........................................Serial number ...........................3.2 Gas ConnectionWARNING!The following instructionsabout installation,maintenance and ventilationmust be carried out byqualified personnel incompliance with theregulation in force (UNI-CIG7129 - 7131). Make sure thatthe kitchen is well ventilated:keep natural ventilationholes open (at least 100cm²) or install a mechanicalextractor hood.Choose fixed connections or use aflexible pipe in stainless steel incompliance with the regulation in force. Ifyou use flexible metallic pipes, be carefulthey do not come in touch with mobileparts or they are not squeezed. Also becareful when the hob is put together withan oven.Make sure that the gassupply pressure of theappliance obeys therecommended values.If the supplied pressure has not thespecified value, it is necessary toassemble a proper pressure regulator incompliance with the standard UNI EN 88.For Liquid Gas (LPG) the use of pressureregulator is allowed only if they are incompliance with UNI EN 12864. Theadjustable connection is fixed to thecomprehensive ramp by means of athreaded nut G 1/2". Screw the partswithout force, adjust the connection inthe necessary direction and tighteneverything.A B CA. End of shaft with nutB. Washer supplied with the applianceC. Elbow supplied with the applianceRigid connection:Carry out connection by using metal rigidpipes (copper with mechanical end)(UNI-CIG 7129).Flexible connection:Use a flexible pipe in stainless steel(UNI-CIG 9891) with a maximum length 2m.WARNING!When installation iscomplete, make sure thatthe seal of each pipe fittingis correct. Use a soapysolution, not a flame!3.3 Injectors replacement1. Remove the pan supports.2. Remove the caps and crowns of theburner.3. With a socket spanner 7 remove theinjectors and replace them with theones which are necessary for thetype of gas you use (see table in"Technical Data" chapter).4. Assemble the parts, follow the sameprocedure backwards.5. Attach the label with the new type ofgas supply near the gas supply pipe.You can find this label in the packagesupplied with the appliance.If the supply gas pressure is changeableor different from the necessary pressure,www.aeg.com8
