276.2 EXTERNAL BATTERY EXTENSIONTo achieve longer backup time, it is possible to connect multi-batterypacks. Connect exclusively the following products togetherProtect C.1000 with Protect C.1000 BPProtect C.2000 with Protect C.2030 BPProtect C.3000 with Protect C.2030 BPProtect C with 1 battery extensionFig.: Protect C.1000 and Protect C.1000 BP1. Check the correct fit of the UPS and the battery unit (thecasings e.g. have to have the same dimension).2. Now connect both battery connectors using the suppliedbattery connection cable. When connecting, make sure thatyou push the plug quickly and firmly in the battery connectors.Fix the connector parts concluding with the screws on theside.3. Change the menu item “Settings” under “External BatteryModules” to the number <1> (see page 43).
