Before initial loading of the freezer compartment with pre-viously frozen goods, the required storage temperature of -18°C mustbe reached.The freezer door storage compartment (2 stars) serves only for storagepurposes at -12 °C. Storage time: 2-3 weeks, depending on food.• Load freezer compartment only with packaged frozen goods, so thatthey do not dry out or lose their flavour, and so that no flavour con-tamination of other frozen goods can occur.• Please observe maximum storage times and expiry dates of frozengoods.Preparation of Ice CubesYour freezer is equipped with aspecific holder in order to placethe ice cube tray you will findinside your appliance. (see figure)Fill ice cube tray 3/4 full with coldwater and place in the freezercom-partment and allow to free-ze.To remove the finished ice cubestwist the ice cube tray or hold underrunning water for a short time.Attention! Do not, under any circumstances, free an ice tray which isfrozen to the appliance with pointed or sharp edged objects. Use aspoon-handle or similar object.DefrostingThe refrigerator is defrosted automaticallyThe integrated evaporator on the rear wall of the refrigerator compart-ment is defrosted fully automatically.The water collects in the discharge trough at the back wall of the refri-gerator, and is fed through the discharge opening in the catch tray atthe compressor where it is evaporated.
