41-001343-01 Rev 02, Release 3.2.2 5-21Time Zone & DSTThere are two ways you can set the time zone on the IP Phones.First Method - You can set a time zone using the Time Zone option in the IP Phone UI or you canuse the “time zone name” parameter in the configuration files. Both methods allow you to enter avalue from the Time Zone table. The list of time zone names is provided in the table in AppendixA, the section, “Time Zone Name/Time Zone Code Table” on page A-51. The following is anexample:time zone name: US-EasternSecond Method - You can use the Time Zone option in the IP Phone UI or your can use the “timezone name” parameter in the configuration files, and specify a value of “Custom” for thisparameter (must use initial caps). The “Custom” option allows you to customize the time zone foryour area using additional configuration parameters.
