It is intended for high priority and emergency situations.• The overriding party must have a higher priority assigned to the phone than bothparties being overridden.• A phone set on Do Not Disturb that gives the caller a busy signal, can be overriddenby a Busy Override call, providing that Busy Override feature is allowed and thephone has a lower priority than the overriding party.• The overriding party hears a constant steady dial tone for 15 seconds or until theextension called is no longer busy, whichever occurs first.• The party that is being interrupted hears a one second warning tone. The toneindicates that the call will be overridden in 15 seconds if it is not put on hold orended. Immediately before the overriding party is on line, another warning entrytone is heard. If the call is not put on hold, or ended, the other party in theconversation is disconnected and the call is overridden.
