Product Guide - A5000 R5.4 – Aastra X seriesBPS0121AENAA01 Page 62/745.5 Integrated call distribution services5.5.1 Call distributionRegarding the call distribution functions from the Aastra 5000 offer, the key points are that all therequired hardware is embedded on the motherboard and could be fully managed remotely.Moreover, the integration of the call distribution architecture into the motherboard of the Aastra 5000range guarantees the optimisation of the full architecture of the switch: The resources are shared(memory, DSP, access) between all the call distribution services.This call distribution service is for a single site.This offer is based on the Aastra 5000 call distribution software mechanisms. It uses features such as:• Calling party’s number processing and its associated routing to the called number• Scheduled call distribution and routing involving the following elements:• operator console and operator services• reduced service: lunch break, etc.• dissuasion service• distribution of calls to hunt groups and their associated queues• general-call hunt group• cyclic hunt groups• fixed hunt groups• longest idle time hunt groups• assistance hunt group• overflow hunt group• intercom and assistant/manager filtering featuresAll these features are available in the Aastra 5000 software (without licence and additional hardware).5.5.2 Integrated servicesThe call distribution services integrated in the Aastra 5000 range also include:• simple answering machine• answering and recording machine (or IVB: integrated voice mailbox)• synchronous and asynchronous announcements to play customised messages (greeting,hold, dissuasion)• Interactive Voice Server: IVR (key code needed)• The e-VoiceMail service in synchronised mode: Listening to the voice message via the e-mail (key code needed )For a more detailed description of these services, refer to Chapter 51 of the product guide.
