The Features of Your Telephone22If the handset is checked in on multiple base stations, the name of the active basestation with the internal call number for the handset is displayed in the idle state.Selection lists (e.g. telephone book) and the features menu are displayed in a three-line section of the display. The lines are scrolled up or down by means of the arrowkeys. An item that can be selected is highlighted in a dark colour.Softkey LineThe texts and symbols in this line refer to the keys underneath. The contents of theline change according to the operating status.IlluminationThe display is automatically illuminated when calls are received or when you press akey. The illumination is automatically switched off again ten seconds after the last keywas pressed.Softkeys and Other KeysThe two keys below the display, as well as the arrow keys, are known as softkeys. Thefunctions assigned to the keys are shown in the lowest line of the display.
