This will power on the meter.System Check ScreenEach time the meter powers on, this screenbriefly appears so that you can make sure thedisplay is working properly.The date and time will briefly appear after thesystem check screen so that you can make sureyour meter is set to the correct time and date.Wait for the meter to display the blood dropand test strip symbols.Gently touch only one of the sample areas onthe test strip to the control solution.Important: Do not apply control solution to bothtest strip sample areas.If the sound is on, your meter will beep when the test strip is full. Ashort line then moves clockwise around the display screen while thesample is processing.System Check3Setting the Date and Date Format1. With the month blinking, press the “c” buttonuntil the correct month appears.2. Press the “m” button to move to the day setting.With the day blinking, press the “c” button untilthe correct day appears.3. Press the “m” button to moveto “Date Format”.
