Your device is ready to usePicture Symbol OverlaysA picture symbol can be placed under the clear snap cap togive additional context to what will happen when the coloredswitch top is activated. Symbol overlays should fit within a2-in (5-cm) circle area.Activate Switch Adapted Toys orAppliancesBy default, the accessibility switch input/output jacks of thisdevice will activate a switch adapted toy or appliance.1. Plug your toy or appliance into one or both of the 1/8-in (3.5-mm) accessibility switch input/output jacks onthe device. Some toys or appliances may require theincluded plug-to-plug adapter to be used to connect tothe device.2. The toy or appliance will activate as long as the messageis playing.Note: Some electrical appliances will require a PowerLink tobe activated.Play Message With an AccessibilitySwitchBy default, the accessibility switch input/output jacks of thisdevice will activate a switch adapted toy or appliance. Thefollowing steps will change the accessibility switch input/output jacks so that they can be used with an accessibilityswitch.1. Turn device off2. Plug an AbleNet accessibility switch with 1/8-in (3.5-mm)switch plug into the accessibility switch input/outputjacks on the device. One or two switches may be used.3. Activate the AbleNet accessibility while turning device onNote: When the device is turned off, the accessibilityswitch input/output jacks will revert to the toy/appliancefunctionality.
