The DC output type and range, and the thermocoupleoutput type and range are factory set. The DC output and thethermocouple output correspond to the input temperaturerange specified. Mixed T/C types are limited by the ANSItemperature range. Use appropriate thermocouple extensionwire as needed. The input is sampled, CJC compensated, digitally converted toa linearized temperature signal, and then passed to the outputstages where it is converted to a DC output and a simulatedthermocouple output with CJC compensation. Contact factoryif the CJC compensation is to be disabled.Full 4-way galvanic isolation (input 1, output 1, output 2,power) make this module useful for ground loop elimination, common mode signal rejection, and noise pickup reduction.LoopTrackerAn API exclusive feature includes a green LoopTracker LED thatvaries in intensity with changes in the input signal and a redLoopTracker LED that varies in intensity with changes in thechannel 1 DC output signal. It provides a quick visual pictureof your process at all times and can greatly aid in saving timeduring initial startup and troubleshooting.Output Push-to-TestAn API exclusive feature includes an output test switch to pro-vide a fixed output for the DC output channel (independent ofthe input) when pressed. The output test greatly aids in savingtime during initial startup and/or troubleshooting. The output test level is factory set to approximately 75% ofspan but a custom test level may be ordered. |
