IF THE TOOL FALLS OR DROPS FROM THE STORAGE SURFACE, IT MAY DROPONTO THE FOOT OF THE OPERATOR OR OTHER PEOPLE IN THE VICINITY.DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS STUNNING TOOL UNTIL YOU HAVE READ ANDUNDERSTOOD THESE INSTRUCTIONS.ALWAYS WEAR THE CORRECT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHENEVER YOUARE WORKING WITH, CLEANING OR MAINTAINING YOUR CASH MAGNUM XL TOOL.ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GLASSES AND HEARING PROTECTION. THE CORRECTFOOT PROTECTION MUST BE WORN. THERE IS A RISK THAT IF THE TOOL IS DROPPED,THE BOLT MAY PENETRATE THE FOOT OF THE TOOL USER.2.1 Push bolt back into the barrel using the domedend of the pull. (See Fig. 7.05)2.2 Before inserting the cartridge into the chamber of thebreech, ensure that the bolt is fully retracted. If not, donot use the tool as the stunning power will be reducedwhich can lead to an ineffective stun.2.3 Obtain a single cartridge, and load the cartridge intothe cartridge chamber crimped end first. (See Fig 7.06)NOTE4 Only load the cartridge immediately before firing4 Keep the cartridge clean and dry before insertioninto the chamber4 Visually check that the bolt is fully retracted beforefiring (refer to Fig 7.02)4 Only use the correct grade of CASH cartridge bearing the“E” or “C” headmark, as shown in Fig 7.044 When not in use, never leave a cartridge in the chamber,whether live or spent1 PREPARINGFOR LOADING1.1 Turn the breech cap counter clockwise andpull away. (See Fig 7.01)1.2 Make sure firing pin and trigger areuncocked.
