System Configuration5-22Filter ControlThe access point can employ VLAN ID and network traffic framefiltering to control access to network resources and increasesecurity.Native VLAN ID – The VLAN ID assigned to wireless clients thatare not assigned to a specific VLAN by RADIUS serverconfiguration.VLAN – Enables or disables VLAN tagging support on the accesspoint. If enabled, the access point will tag traffic passing fromwireless clients to the wired network with the VLAN ID associatedwith each client on the RADIUS server. Up to 64 VLAN IDs canbe mapped to specific wireless clients, allowing users to remainwithin the same VLAN as they move around a campus site. Thisfeature can also be used to control access to network resourcesfrom wireless clients, thereby improving security.
