BIOS Utility3-43Power-on PasswordThe Power-on Password secures your system against unauthorizeduse. Once you set this password, you have to type it whenever youboot the system. To set this password, enter the BIOS utility, selectSystem Security, then highlight the Power-on Password parameter.Follow the same procedure as in setting the Setup password.Make sure you set JP3 to pins 1-2 to enablethe Power-on password.Operation ModeThis function lets you enable or disable the password prompt display.When set to Normal, the password prompt appears before systemboot. When set to Network, the password prompt does not appear;however, your system will not respond to any keyboard or mouseinput until you enter the correct password.
