135TroubleshootingThis chapter helps you identify and solve problems that might occurwhile you are using the system.For any issue, first ensure that you are using the latest firmware andfiles. Firmware upgrades include updates for BIOS, the BMC, and thehot-swap controller. In addition to the server firmware and files, makesure to update any drivers used for components you have installed inyour system, such as video drivers, network drivers and SAS drivers.If you are unable to resolve your server problems on your own, contactyour dealer or local Acer representative for assistance.Resetting the systemBefore going through in-depth troubleshooting, attempt first to resetthe system using one of the methods below.Problems following initial system installationProblems that occur at initial system startup are usually caused by anincorrect installation or configuration. Hardware failure is a lessfrequent cause.
