18 - Using the Precision TouchpadThe precision touchpad includes added technology features that helprecognize and prevent unintentional gestures such as accidental taps,gestures, and pointer movement.Changing touchpad settingsTo change the touchpad settings to suit your personal requirements,please do the following.1. In the icon tray in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, selectthe Notifications icon to open the Notifications pane.Two-finger pinchZoom in and out of photos, maps anddocuments with a simple finger-and-thumbgesture.Three-finger pressLightly tap the touchpad with three fingersto open Cortana (if your computer supportsCortana) or open the Action Center (if yourcomputer does not support Cortana).Three-finger swipeSwipe across the touchpad with threefingers.- Swipe up to open Task View. Move the cursor over awindow and tap the touchpad to select that window, orswipe downwards to exit Task View.- Swipe down to minimize all open windows and showDesktop; swipe upwards to restore the minimizedwindows.- Swipe left or right to switch between open windows.NoteThe touchpad is sensitive to finger movement; the lighter the touch, the betterthe response.
