These drives are alsocalled thumb and flash drives and are often used tostore and transport music files. To access the music onthese devices, insert the flash drive or the USB cableinto the USB port/SD port illustrated above.Please note that the KOD-1100 is not a computer.It cannot support larger, desktop-sized hard drives,or any Flash Drive device with an abundance of files.External storage devices will not be recognized ifunsupported file types are detected.For best compatibility, format flash in FAT32. If youhave problems formatting in FAT32, please refer toyour computer’s operating manual.A/V, Monitor, Touch Screen ConnectionsEnsure that your KOD-1100 is turned off and un-plugged before connecting it to a TV/Touch Screenand audio system.Also, check that your audio and video componentshave the appropriate inputs. Refer to their manuals ifyou are not sure.If you are going to use dual-screen mode, make sureyou have a touch screen or a PC monitor + a PS/2mouse connecting your KOD-1100 as a purely kara-oke device. Rrefer to the following diagram.Please note that only one video output needs to beused (2 video outputs in the rear of the unit).Inputs for the microphones will be found on the frontpanel of the KOD-1100.
