Usewipes that have CE marking or that are in compliancewith any standard required by the nationalregulations.Wipe dry using a disposable clean non-woven cloth untilthere are no traces of liquid.Packaging: Keep sterilizable accessories in single-usesterilization sleeves or bags in compliance with thespecifications defined in standard EN ISO 11607-1 or inany equivalent standard required by the nationalregulations.Sterilize the light guide and the flexible optical shieldindividually in an autoclave before each patient,according to the following parameters:- autoclave, compliant with standard EN 13060, class B- sterilization temperature: 134 °C- duration of the sterilization hold time: 18 minutes- Pressure: 2 barsStorage: Then, store the sterilized products in a dryplace protected from dust.Before re-use, if the integrity of the packaging is notconformable, recondition and re-sterilize in accordancewith the defined protocol.Disposition of the product: Dispose of the product inreceptacles for waste materials of healthcare activitiesinvolving infectious risks.2) Before cleaning the handpiece, insert theprotective cap in place of the light guide toprevent any liquid entering the handpiece.3) After each use, check thoroughly that no compositeresidue has adhered to the light guide. Remove anyresidue immediately and check that the surface ofthe light guide has not been altered. If damage isdetected, replace the light guide, as the power of thecuring light could be reduced significantly.4) Under normal conditions of use, the power of thecuring light does not vary if the battery is properlycharged. Consequently there is no need to check thepower as in the case of ordinary curing lights.However, if in doubt, check the power using the lightguide.5) The battery unscrews from the handpiece forreplacement.6) Remove the light guide to check that the LED is cleanand undamaged. Clean it with a dry air jet ifnecessary.7) Never use an ultrasound bath for cleaning the M INIL.E.D. or its accessories.4) The battery is located at the end of the handpiece. Itcan be removed by unscrewing.5) The LED (located at the end of the handpiece) againstwhich the light guide is fitted should regularly bechecked for cleanness. If necessary, use a jet ofperfectly dry air to clean it.6) The light guide is not chemiclave safe. The conditionsand sterilization cycles are according to theautoclave instructions. Steam sterilization: 134°C at2 bars (200kPa) for 18min.7) Disposal of the equipment and its accessories shouldbe carried out by a collection centre for electronicequipment or by returning them to SATELEC's AfterSales Service. In no case should the device and itsaccessories be disposed of by the user.8 - TROUBLESHOOTINGIf a problem appears, before calling your dealer's aftersales service:1) Check that the base station is connected properly tothe mains to ensure that the battery rechargesnormally. If the LED is not lit up in spite of properconnection, contact the after sales service.2) Check that the battery indicator shows that it is fullycharged before pressing the On/Off button. If the LEDis red, an automatic safety mechanism will stop thedevice from being activated. In this case, rechargeyour battery by replacing the handpiece on the basestation, or just replace with a second fully chargedbattery.3) Intensive use of the lamp will generally cause a risein its external temperature that can be felt by thehand holding it. This is absolutely normal. If thetemperature inside the M INI L.E.D. should rise toohigh, an automatic safety mechanism will stop thelamp, and the status indicator will flash red. Leavethe device for a few minutes to cool down and thencarry on as normal.4) If the wattmeter control LED is red, check that theLED and the light guide are clean.
