103-in-1 Sensor Installation GuidelinesINSTALLATION HEIGHT Mount the sensor at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) off theground (higher is better for wind measurement) in an open area. Secure tofence post, 2’x4’ wood, 3/4” pole, etc. (not included)LEVEL INSTALLATION Use a bubble level (not included) to ensure levelinstallation for accurate wind measurement.Top or Side Mount1. Insert the mounting base intothe hole on the bottom of thesensor.2. Use one of the screws includedin the hardware bag to fastenthe lower sensor housing to themounting base.3. Make sure the sensor is levelusing a bubble level.4. Fasten mounting base to a postor railing using 2 screws.Pole Mount1. Insert pole (we recommend 3/4”schedule 40 PVC / 25.8 mm O.D.,not included) or similar item all theway into the hole on the bottom of thesensor. Note: Mounting base is notused.2. Use one of the screws included in thehardware bag to fasten the lowersensor housing securely to the pole.3. Make sure the sensor is level using abubble level.The 3-in-1 sensor is now ready to use.Basic Setup is CompleteThe 3-in-1 sensor will now synchronize with the display unit. It may take a fewminutes for synchronization to complete. If both or one of the units appear tobe functioning improperly, please refer to the troubleshooting section.Top Mount Side MountPole MountDo not install duringelectrical storms.Do not place poleor sensor nearelectrical lines orelectrical equipment.
