See your motherboard documentationfor more information on your supported ZCR enabled slot.9 Connect the computer’s disk activity LED cable to theappropriate connector on the controller. See Appendix G forthe location of this connector for your controller.Ensure that the positive lead of the LED cable, usually a redwire or a wire marked with a red stripe, is attached to pin 1 andthe negative lead, usually a black wire, is attached to pin 2.10 Install and connect any internal drives using the appropriatecable.Note: If you are building a RAID 5 as described in Creatinga Bootable RAID 5 Array on page 2-5, you must install atleast three drives.11 Close the computer cabinet.12 SCSI controllers only—Connect any external cables and drives tothe Adaptec SCSI RAID controller.Determining the Boot ControllerNote: If your system will contain two or more bootablecontrollers, read this section.
