3After you turn off your computer and unplug the power cord,remove the cover from the computer.Locate an unused 64-bit PCI expansion slot and remove theexpansion slot cover. If the computer does not have a 64-bit slot,you can install the card in a 32-bit PCI slot. The Adaptec SCSICard 39320D supports both 5V and 3.3V 64-bit slots. (Theexpansion slot must be compliant with PCI Rev. 2.1 or PCI-XRev. 1.0 and must support Bus Mastering.) Save the slot coverscrew for use in Step 4.Computers may have vertical or horizontal expansion slots. Referto your computer manual to locate the PCI slots. If yourcomputer is a tower model, lay it on its side to allow for easierinstallation of the Adaptec SCSI Card 39320D.STEP 2STEP 3Be careful when inserting the Adaptec SCSI Card39320D in a PCI slot.
