Information in this document is subject to change without notice and does not representa commitment on the part of Adaptec or any of its subsidiaries.Replace the Front Bezel1 Position the bezel so the tabs line up to slide under the top edge of the cover.Make sure that the LED/LCD connector on the bezel matches up with theconnector on the chassis.2 Press firmly to reattach the bezel.You should hear a muted click when the latches lock.Configure the Replacement Disk DriveIf the Pool was Protected by a Hot SpareIf the pool was protected by a hot spare, the hot spare is automatically incorporatedinto the pool and takes over for the failed drive. Use your replacement drive tocreate a new hot spare:1 In the Enterprise View, select the iSCSI Storage Appliance associated with the hotspare.2 In the Physical Devices View, select the hot spare.3 In the Actions menu, select Delete hot-spare drive, then select the pool with thehot spare you want to delete.4 Designate the new hot spare.If the Pool was not Protected by a Hot SpareWhen the failed drive is replaced, the new disk drive will automatically be detectedand the pool will begin rebuilding.
