FPM-3190G User Manual 2Chapter 1 Introduction1.1 IntroductionAdvantech's FPM-3190G Series is a 19" color TFT LCD flat panel moni-tor built specifically for industrial applications. With the optional touch-screen, the FPM-3190G Series is an excellent and user-friendly systemcontrol interface.In addition to its usual application as an LCD panel monitor, the FPM-3190G comes standard with Direct-VGA interface, which connectsdirectly with popular PC VGA cards and also supports DVI-D, S-videoand CVBS connectors. With the FPM-3190G, Advantech is taking a moreaggressive initiative to penetrate the industrial HMI market. Its OSD (OnScreen Display) function allows you to adjust the display factors and turnthe backlight on and off for the front view, functions which become criti-cal as more and more industrial HMI users become aware of the benefitsof flat panel monitors. The whole chassis is of stainless steel, and thefront panel is of aluminum with NEMA4/IP65 compliance. An optionalstainless steel front panel is also available.The FPM-3190G Series has an optional resistive touchscreen. With aresistive touchscreen, the monitor can be immediately transformed into aremote control system.
