User’s Manual8-38.2 Cleaning the Friction Roller1. Soak a clean cloth with some isopropyl alcohol (95%). Ifaccidentally use too much alcohol, be sure to wring out thedamp cloth.2. Open the front door slightly to the left.3. Refer to the subsequent section 8.6 Replacing the ADFFriction Roller on how to remove the Friction Roller.4. Hold one end of the roller assembly and gently wipe thesurface of the rollers with the other hand to remove the dustof stains. Be careful no to scratch the surface of the roller.Rotate the rollers until they are completely cleaned.5. Refer to the subsequent section 8.6 Replacing the ADFFriction Roller on how to remove the Friction Roller.
