For details of eachsetting, please refer to the online help available from thesetup tools. Click to access the online helpImage AppearanceUse these settings to change the image as required. Theimage can be rotated, the image resolution andcompression can be adjusted, and the white balance canbe changed.Mirroring is the horizontal flipping of an image, thatgives you another image perspective. This is a usefulfunction when you need a direct view of the image, forexample, in ATMs and door phones. The mirroringsettings should be defined before you define the parameters for privacy masks and motion detection.Resolution includes wide screen 16:9, partial which stands for partial scan where an image is taken from thecenter region of the sensor for optimal frame rate in Motion JPEG/MPEG-4 and full speed which is a partialscan that has been scaled down to give full frame rate in Motion JPEG.The configuration of the video image will affect the camera’s overall performance, depending on how it is usedand on the available bandwidth. Setting higher resolution and lower compression improves video image quality,but increases the amount of bandwidth used.Please see the online help for further information on these settings.Text Overlay SettingsUse these settings to include text and dateand time overlays.These overlays are included on one line, atthe top or bottom of the video image.Video StreamDefine the maximum video stream timeper session in seconds, minutes or hours.When the set time has expired, a newstream can be started by refreshing thepage in the browser. For unlimited videostream time, select the Unlimited radiobutton. Note that the maximum videostream time does not apply to clientsconnecting via multicast.The frame rate allowed to each viewer can also be limited, to avoid bandwidth problems on the network. Toallow the highest available frame rate, select the Unlimited radio button.For a preview of the image before saving, click Test. When satisfied with the settings, click Save. Please notethat the preview image will be in JPEG format, even though the settings are valid both for Motion JPEG andMPEG-4.Please refer to the online help for more information.Overlay imageText, date andtime overlays
