43AXIS 213 - System OptionsNetworkBasic TCP/IP SettingsIP Address Configuration - the IP address of the AXIS 213 can be set automaticallyvia DHCP, or a fixed IP address can be set manually. A host name can be used andthere are options for setting up notification of changes in the IP address. DHCP isenabled by default.Note: Automatic IP address assignment via DHCP may lead to the situation where the IP address is changedand you lose contact. Configure the options for notification of IP address change (under Services)to receive notification from the AXIS 213, when the IP address has been changed.Alternatively, if your DHCP server can update a DNS server, you can access the AXIS 213 by hostname which is always the same, regardless of the IP address.ServicesOptions for notification of IP address change - if the IP Address for the AXIS 213 ischanged automatically, e.g. by DHCP, you can choose to be notified. Click Settings...and enter the required information.AXIS Internet Dynamic DNS Service - If the AXIS 213 has been registered with theAxis Internet Dynamic DNS service and the IP address for the product changes, theservice is updated to reflect the change. Check the box to enable/disable automaticupdates.The domain name currently registered at the Axis Internet Dynamic DNS service foryour product can at any time be removed.
