It includes instructions for using andmanaging the AXIS 262+ on your network. Previousexperience of networking will be of use when installingand using this product. Check the laws in your local regionbefore using this product for surveillance purposes.Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radiofrequency energy and, if not installed and used inaccordance with the instructions, may cause harmfulinterference to radio communications. However, there is noguarantee that interference will not occur in a particularinstallation. If this equipment does cause harmfulinterference to radio or television reception, which can bedetermined by turning the equipment off and on, the user isencouraged to try to correct the interference by one ormore of the following measures: Re-orient or relocate thereceiving antenna. Increase the separation between theequipment and receiver. Connect the equipment to anoutlet on a different circuit to the receiver. Consult yourdealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.Shielded (STP) network cables must be used with this unitto ensure compliance with EMC standards.Europe - This digital equipment fulfills therequirements for radiated emission according to limit B ofEN55022/1998, and the requirements for immunityaccording to EN55024/1998 residential, commercial, andlight industry.Japan - This is a class B product based on the standard ofthe Voluntary Control Council for Interference fromInformation Technology Equipment (VCCI). If this is usednear a radio or television receiver in a domestic environment,it may cause radio interference. Please handle thisunit with care. Vibration and shock could damage the unit soplease use the original packaging if moving the AXIS 262+.• Wait 30 seconds before moving the AXIS 262+ afterdisconnecting the power supply to avoid damaging the harddisk.• Exposure to water or moisture may cause fire or electricalshock.
