Using excessive force with power toolscould cause damage to the product.• Do not use chemicals, caustic agents, or aerosolcleaners.• Use a clean cloth dampened with pure water forcleaning.• Use only accessories that comply with thetechnical specification of your product. Thesecan be provided by Axis or a third party. Axisrecommends using Axis power source equipmentcompatible with your product.• Use only spare parts provided by or recommendedby Axis.• Do not attempt to repair the product yourself.Contact Axis support or your Axis reseller forservice matters.TransportationNONONOTICETICETICE• When transporting the Axis product, use theoriginal packaging or equivalent to preventdamage to the product.BatteryThe Axis product uses a 3.0 V CR2032 lithium batteryas the power supply for its internal real-time clock(RTC). Under normal conditions this battery will lastfor a minimum of five years.Low battery power affects the operation of the RTC,causing it to reset at every power-up. When thebattery needs replacing, a log message will appearin the product’s server report. For more informationabout the server report, see the product´s web pageor contact Axis support.Lithium coin cell 3.0 V batteries contain1,2-dimethoxyethane; ethylene glycol dimethyl ether(EGDME), CAS no. 110-71-4.WARNING• Risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectlyreplaced.• The battery should be replaced with an identicalbattery only.• Used batteries should be disposed of accordingto local regulations or the battery manufacturer'sinstructions.Dome coverNONONOTICETICETICE• Be careful not to scratch, damage or leavefingerprints on the dome cover because thiscould decrease image quality. If possible, keepthe protective plastic on the dome cover untilthe installation is complete.• Do not clean a dome cover that looks clean tothe eye and never polish the surface. Excessivecleaning could damage the surface.• For general cleaning of the dome cover it isrecommended to use a non-abrasive, solvent-freeneutral soap or detergent mixed with pure waterand a soft, clean cloth. Rinse well with purelukewarm water. Dry with a soft, clean cloth toprevent water spotting.• Never use harsh detergents, gasoline, benzene,acetone, or similar chemicals.• Avoid cleaning the dome cover in direct sunlightor at elevated temperatures.
