Anynetwork cables that are routed outdoors or in demanding electrical environments shall beshielded (STP) and intended for their specific use.NoteTo locate the different components see illustrations under Product overview on page 10.1. Optionally connect external input/output devices, see Connectors on page 18.2. Connect the network cable to the network connector in the housing.3. Fasten the shoe ring mounted grounding wire and washer with the grounding screw.Find the device on the networkTo find Axis devices on the network and assign them IP addresses in Windows®, use AXIS IP Utilityor AXIS Device Manager. Go to Settings > Image > Focus and click Show AF area.2. Adjust the autofocus area to cover the part of the image that you want to be in focus.If you don’t select an autofocus area, the camera focuses on the entire scene. Werecommend that you focus on a static object.3. Adjust the Zoom level.4. Click Autofocus.NoteIf the camera does not focus, try to calibrate the optics in System > Maintenance, andperform auto focus again.22
