EmbroideringB-64After the preparations are done, you can try embroidering.This section describes the steps for embroidering andappliquéing.Embroidering a patternEmbroidery patterns are embroidered with a change of threadafter each color.aPrepare embroidery thread of the color shown on thescreen.1 Embroidery color order• The thread color number set displayed for the threadcolors can be changed. Press , and then changethe setting in the settings screen. For details, refer to“Changing the thread color display” on page B-65.bSet the embroidery thread, and thread the needle.• Refer to “Threading the upper thread” on page B-24and “Threading the needle” on page B-26.cPass the thread through the embroidery foot hole, andhold it lightly in your left hand.Give the thread a little slack.dLower the presser foot, then press the “Start/Stop”button to start embroidering.After 5-6 stitches, press the “Start/Stop” button againto stop the machine.e Trim the excess thread at the end of the seam. If theend of the seam is under the presser foot, raise thepresser foot, then trim the excess thread.• If the thread is left at the beginning of the stitching, itmay be sewn over as you continue embroidering thepattern, making it very difficult to deal with thethread after the pattern is finished. Trim the thread atthe beginning.fPress the “Start/Stop” button to start embroidering.→ Stitching stops automatically with reinforcement afterone color has been completed.
