7e Place the embroidery sheet in the upperframe, align the center mark (line) on thefabric with the guide line on the embroiderysheet, and then press down on the left andright locking levers until they click into place.a Locking leversf Remove the embroidery sheet, and thengently pull the four sides of the fabric toremove any excess slack. Be careful so thatfabric is not stretched out of shape. Finally,check that the fabric is firmly within thehoop.Attaching the Border EmbroideryFrame to the Embroidery Unita Make sure that the needle and presser foothave been raised. If the needle has not beenraised, press the “Needle Position” button toraise it. If the presser foot has not been raised,press the “Presser Foot Lifter” button to raiseit.b Make sure that the embroidery unit carriagehas moved to its initial position.c Align the guide on the border embroideryframe with the right edge of the embroideryframe holder.a Embroidery frame holderb Guide on border embroidery frameMemo• The fabric can also be positioned in the borderembroidery frame by aligning the edge of the fabricwith the inner markings on the upper frame.Note• If there is excess fabric after the center of theembroidering area is aligned with the center of theborder embroidery frame, fold over the excessfabric, place it on top of the upper frame, and thenpress down on the levers. Be careful that the foldedexcess fabric is not caught in the embroidering area.CAUTION• After firmly hooping the fabric in the borderembroidery frame, attach the frame to theembroidery unit. Otherwise, the needle may breakand cause injuries.• Before attaching the border embroidery frame tothe embroidery unit, make sure that the needle andpresser foot have been raised. Otherwise, theneedle may break and cause injuries.Note• Before attaching the border embroidery frame, windthe bobbin with thread and install it.ab |
