If the needleremains up when the machine stops sewing, press(Needle position button) to lower the needle.bRaise the presser foot lever, and then turn the fabric.Turn the fabric using the needle as a pivot.cLower the presser foot lever and continue sewing.■ Sewing curvesSew slowly while slightly changing the sewing direction tosew around the curve. For details on sewing with an evenseam allowance, refer to “Sewing an even seam allowance”on page 29.When sewing along a curve while using a zigzag stitch, selecta shorter stitch length in order to obtain a finer stitch.Note• If the upper thread was incorrectly threaded, the upperthread may be too loose.
