Doing so could drain thebattery.CAUTION:Using accessories with wattage requirements over 100watts could damage the ATV’s wiring and electrical com-ponents, causing them to overheat. Check the wattageof any accessory before plugging into the 12 V electricalsocket.Brake fluid reservoir — Use DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid froma sealed container. Do not mix brake fluid types.Brake lever — The front and rear brakes are simultaneouslyapplied by squeezing the brake lever toward the grip.Electric start button — Depressing the electric start buttonwill start the engine when the ignition key switch is in the ONposition, the engine start switch is in the RUN position, andgear is in park or neutral with brakes applied.Engine stop switch — With the engine stop switch in theOFF position the engine cannot be started. Move the enginestop switch to the RUN position to start the engine.Foot brake — Located on the right hand floorboard of theATV. The foot brake activates both front and rear brakes.Fuel valve — This vehicle has one manually operated fuelvalve featuring 3 positions.In the ON position, fuel is allowed to flow into the carburetorwhen the engine is running or being started.In the OFF position, fuel is shut off from the carburetor. Thefuel valve needs to be placed in this position when the ATVis not in use.If the fuel level in the fuel tank becomes too low for the en-gine to stay running while the fuel valve is in the ON position,turn the fuel valve to RESERVE. This will allow the engine tobegin using the reserve fuel supply. You will need to refuelas soon as possible. Once refueled, turn the valve back tothe ON position.Fuel tank cap and vent line — To open the fuel tank cap,take the end of the vent tube out from the vehicle body, thenturn the fuel tank cap counterclockwise. To close the fuel tankcap, turn it clockwise and tighten it securely. Be sure that thevent tube is securely connected to the cap.High beam indicator — Illuminates when high beam head-lights are on.High beam/low beam switch — Depress this switch totoggle between high beam and low beam headlights.Ignition key switch — Turn right (clockwise) for ON andturn left (counterclockwise) for OFF. ATV will only start whenignition key is in the ON position and gear is in park or neutralwith brakes applied. Make sure ignition key switch is in OFFposition when not in use.Km/h indicator — Illuminates when speedometer is in Km/h.Km/h - M/h (mph) toggle button — Toggles display betweenKm/h and M/h (mph).Light switch — There are three positions on the light switch:OFF, Low Beam, and High Beam.Lights indicator — Illuminates when headlights and taillights are on.M/h (mph) indicator — Illuminates when speedometer isin M/h.Manual choke lever — When engine is cold, place the chokelever in the ON position. When engine has warmed up, movelever back to the OFF position.Neutral indicator — Illuminates when ATV is in neutral.Odometer — Indicates total distance (MPH or km) driven.Parking brake lock — While starting the engine or parkingthe ATV, especially on a slope, apply the parking brake bysqueezing the rear brake lever and pushing down the park-ing brake lock.Reverse indicator — Illuminates when ATV is in reverse.Seat lock — To remove the seat, move the seat lock leverbackward. Raise the rear end of the seat and slide it back.To lock the seat, slide the seat lever into its retainer and pushthe seat down firmly.WARNING:Make sure seat is in proper position and attached securelywhen you install it. Failing to install the seat properly couldallow the seat to move and cause the rider to lose control,resulting in possible serious personal injuries.Speedometer — Indicates the speed of the ATV.Speed limiter screw — The speed limiter keeps the throttlefrom fully opening, even when the throttle is pushed to themaximum. Turning the speed limiter screw clockwise limitsthe maximum engine power available and decreases themaximum speed. Adjust this limiter screw according to therider’s skill and experience.Throttle lever — Controls engine and ATV speed. Push leverforward with your thumb to increase engine and ATV speed.Release to decrease engine and ATV speed.
