A hard piecethat accidentally gets hung up in the saw messes up your guide alignment. See “SettingGuides”. A last alternative would be adjusting the head rigs. See “Cutting AngleAdjustment”.Boards that look like the image below are almost always problems with the blade. A bladewith more set on the top or with dull bottom teeth will cut bowed boards. Check with a goodblade. If it is not the blade, check blade tension.Boards that look like the image below are usually blade problems. Ripples form when theblade has more set on the bottom. Check with a good blade. If it is not the blade, check bladetension.Loose guide plates or improper blade tensioning can generally cause boards to look like theimage below.
