They are tested concerning the maximumflow and back pressure and the self-priming characteristic (conditions: suction pressure < 10 mbar; DIwater; settings mp-x: 100 Hz, 250 V, SRS, the max. flow rate will be reached after a few minutes ofoperation time).Measurement conditionsPump media: DI-WaterIncrease in amplitude linearly increases the flow rate to themaximum. The amplitude defines the stroke of the actuator and therefore thedisplacement of the pumping media per pump cycles. The flow rate of the pumps shows a linear dependency on the backpressure. At 0 mbar back pressure the maximum pump rate can be achievedand at the maximum back pressure the flow rate is decreased to0 ml/min.Rising frequencies result in a maximum flow rate at resonancefrequency. At frequencies above the resonant point the flow ratedecreases again. The resonance frequency and themaximum flow rate strongly depend onthe viscosity of the media. The lower the viscosity, the higher themaximum flow rate and the resonancefrequency.
