Operation and Features3-16 BASLER L100k SeriesDRAFT3.5.2 Setting the OffsetYou can use the Offset setting in the Camera Configuration Tool Plus (see Section 4.1) to set theoffst on your camera. When you change the Offset setting, the CCT+ will automatically changethe offset on the odd pixels and on the even pixels by the same amount. If you want to set thecamera so that the offset on each channel is different, you can use the Offset Balance setting tochange the offset on the even pixels only. You can also use the Odd Pixel Offset binary command to set the offset for the odd pixels and theEven Pixel Offset binary command to set the offset for the even pixels (see Sections 4.2.4.12 and4.2.4.14). The odd pixel and even pixel offset settings can be programmed on a decimal scale thatranges from 0 to 255 (0x0000 to 0x00FF).If the camera is operating in 10 bit output mode, an increase of 4 (decimal) in the odd pixel settingwill result in a positive offset of 1 in the digital values output for the odd pixels of the sensor. Anincrease of 4 (decimal) in the even pixel setting will result in a positive offset of 1 in the digitalvalues output for the even pixels of the sensor. If the camera is operating in 8 bit output mode, an increase of 16 (decimal) in the odd pixel settingwill result in a positive offset of 1 in the digital values output for odd pixels of the sensor. Anincrease of 16 (decimal) in the even pixel setting will result in a positive offset of 1 in the digitalvalues output for the even pixels of the sensor.
