Accessory Power Outlet(s)Accessory power outlets can be used to connectauxiliary electrical equipment, such as a cellulartelephone or CB radio.One accessory power outlet is located inside the centerfloor console. Lift up on the lower latch located at thefront of the console lid to access the accessorypower outlet.There may also be an accessory power outlet located onthe rear of the center floor console above the cupholder.To use an accessory power outlet, remove theprotective cap. When not in use, always cover theaccessory power outlet with the protective cap.Do not try to put the cigarette lighter in any of theaccessory power outlets.Notice: If electrical devices are left plugged into apower outlet, the battery may drain causing yourvehicle not to start or damage to the battery. Thiswould not be covered by the warranty. Always unplugall electrical devices when turning off your vehicle.Certain electrical accessories may not be compatiblewith the accessory power outlet and could resultin blown vehicle or adapter fuses. If you experiencea problem see your dealer/retailer for additionalinformation on accessory power outlets.The accessory power outlets are powered, evenwhen the ignition is in LOCK/OFF. Continuing to usepower outlets while the ignition is in LOCK/OFFmay cause the vehicle’s battery to run down.Notice: Adding any electrical equipment to yourvehicle may damage it or keep other componentsfrom working as they should. The repairs wouldnot be covered by your warranty. Do not useequipment exceeding maximum amperage ratingof 20 amperes.
